Dolly Forever Now in Stores

Barbie is hipper than ever, still sporting a rocking body that no real woman outside of Heidi Montag could ever dream of, and is now adorned in the latest Christian Louboutin outfit. Christian Louboutin, in case you are not aware of him, is a French designer who is most notable for his striking shoe designs with red-soles, made famous numerous models walking up and down the catwalk.

The new Barbie is named “Dolly Forever”- I am not sure if her name has anything to do with Ms. Parton. Before the “Dolly Forever” Barbie was released, Christian Louboutin complained that the standard Barbie’s ankles were too thick; as a result, Mattel sized down Barbie’s ankles so that her boots would look better on her feet.

According to Mattel, “Dolly Forever” is ready for a fashion shoot in her cat-like khaki dress, chain-link gold belt, and her fringe boots with Christian Louboutin’s red soles.
“Dolly Forever” will be sold for $150 a pop, so you might want to think twice before putting her on your daughter’s birthday present list.
